*Explanation of service levels
L1+ Operator duties
Liaising with users, carrying out helpdesk tasks, providing first-line support in the event of faults, and supporting client machines via remote desktop. This includes, for example, operating system updates, resolving email issues, configuring printers and network drives, troubleshooting software problems and basic log analysis.
L2 Technician duties
Maintaining professional relationships with clients; installing, updating and configuring servers and network devices; and ensuring they operate smoothly. This includes, for example, the operation of VMware, Hyper-V, Docker and other virtual environments and solutions; server migration; the implementation and testing of new software solutions; the management of file systems and domains; and in-depth log analysis, such as penetration testing.
L3 Engineering tasks
This includes tasks that require a comprehensive overview of the entire infrastructure and in-depth expertise. These include the design of complex systems, the commissioning of new servers and network devices, and the configuration of firewalls and complex security solutions. Among other things, this often includes setting up a complete, new IT infrastructure or server environment at new sites.
Management tasks
Planning and management of complex projects, process management, ongoing consultation with clients, IT project management and consultancy. Preparing strategic decisions, and supporting resource management and service development.
Administration and handling charge
For each purchase, we charge an average of 15% for administration and logistics costs, which cover the preparation and coordination of the purchase, as well as the associated material handling tasks.
Overtime
On weekdays before 08:30 and after 17:30, as well as at weekends (50%) and on public holidays (100%), we charge a standard overtime rate.
