A fresh start, a smooth move – HellermannTyton’s new office is ready for the future
HellermannTyton recently moved into new, modern offices so that it could continue its operations in a more inspiring and efficient working environment. However, a move on this scale is not just about moving furniture – behind the scenes, a precisely planned and executed IT logistics process ensures that the transition is smooth and hassle-free.
In this project, Manawize was commissioned to relocate the entire IT infrastructure of HellermannTyton’s Hungarian office and to ensure the seamless commissioning of the IT systems at the new office.
How did HellermannTyton’s IT migration go?
Challenge
One of the biggest challenges when relocating an office is ensuring that staff are disrupted as little as possible in their daily work. The aim is to ensure business continuity during the move, data security, and the rapid, error-free re-establishment of the technical infrastructure at the new premises.
Solution
We planned and carried out every aspect of the move – from dismantling and testing right through to full recommissioning.
Our tasks included:
- Secure packaging and transport of IT equipment
We have professionally packed all computers, monitors and network devices to ensure that nothing is damaged during transport.
- Testing of used and spare equipment
Before the move, we tested all the unused equipment to ensure that only fully functional, reliable equipment was set up in the new office.
- Assistance with dismantling tables
We also played an active part in the physical move, helping to dismantle and prepare the workstations.
- Setting up temporary workstations
In the new office, we set up temporary workstations whilst the move was taking place, so that the HellermannTyton team could continue working without disruption during the move.
- Assembly and commissioning of workstations
Once the desks and IT equipment had been reassembled, we set up the permanent workstations and connected and configured the equipment.
- Cable management and aesthetic adjustments
All cables have been arranged so that they are out of the way, blend in aesthetically with the office environment, and are safe to use.
- Setting up printers and network devices
Under the new system, we have connected all printers, scanners and other peripherals to the network, enabling office workflows to resume immediately.
Result
Following the move, HellermannTyton’s new office is not only more modern and tidier, but with a fully operational IT infrastructure was able to start operating from day one.
For staff, the transition went smoothly – behind the scenes, we commissioned all the systems on time, securely and with precision.

An office move is not just a matter of logistics. Without computers, network equipment, printers and other devices functioning flawlessly, work could come to a standstill, which could result in significant losses.
